Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How thick are the Painted Edge Cards?

They are printed on a 32pt Ultra-Thick stock—a durable, dense card that is about twice the thickness of a standard 16pt business card, offering a heavy, high-quality feel.

The edges are meticulously hand-painted (or foiled) after the cards are printed and cut. This requires a thick cardstock to ensure the color is visible and opaque, creating a clean, solid border.

We offer a wide range of standard and metallic colors. For an exact match to your branding, custom color requests using Pantone (PMS) colors may be accommodated; please contact our support team for a custom quote.

The paint is specially formulated to adhere to the cardstock, making it quite durable. While extreme rough handling should be avoided, the color is resistant to typical wear and tear and will maintain its appearance over time.

No. You design your card faces (front and back) as you normally would. You will simply select your desired edge color from our palette during the ordering process; we handle the application of the color.
